Fitness training programs are like stereotypical movie in-laws. No matter how good you are, it’s never enough. Their expectations compare you to someone who is not you.

Training programs aren’t tailored to you. Unless you have a team of trainers, doctors, and recovery specialists, you’re using a program that somebody else put together. It’s not based on where you’re starting. They’ve either figured out how to sell it, or they posted it, and it got enough internet fame that you also found it for free.
